Delete your account

This page explains how users of the G Location Jobs Android app can request deletion of their account and associated data.

Delete your account in the app

1. Sign in to the G Location Jobs app.
2. Open Profile.
3. Select Delete Account.
4. Confirm the deletion request. For security, you may be asked to sign in again.

Request deletion without access to the app

Email us from the address registered to your account. Use the subject Account deletion request and include your registered email address and profile name. Never send us your password or one-time verification code.

Data deleted with your account

After we verify the request, we delete or anonymise account data that is no longer required to provide the service, including:

• Account credentials, profile and contact information
• Your active listings and uploaded listing images
• Saved preferences, favourites and notification tokens
• Applications, reviews and messages where deletion is technically and legally applicable

Data that may be retained

We may retain limited fraud-prevention, security, moderation, dispute, transaction or legal-compliance records when required to protect users or comply with applicable law. Such records are access-restricted and retained only for the legally required period. Content needed to preserve another user's legitimate conversation or transaction record may be anonymised instead of deleted.

Delete specific content without deleting your account

You can delete or manage eligible listings and chat content from their respective screens in the app. You may also email us to request deletion of specific personal data without closing your entire account.
