G LOCATION JOBS

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 18 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how G Location Jobs (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, protects and deletes information when you use the G Location Jobs Android app, website and related marketplace services (the “Platform”).

1. Information we collect

Account and personal information

When you register, edit a profile, apply for a job, verify a seller profile or contact support, we may collect your name, email address, user/account identifiers, address or location description, optional phone number, professional or business information and other information you choose to provide.

Location

With device permission, the app may collect precise GPS coordinates for nearby searches, maps and location-based listings. You may decline precise-location permission and select a location manually. The app and advertising services may also derive approximate location from an IP address.

User content and communications

We collect content that you choose to submit, including listings, descriptions, reviews, reports, profile text, job applications, chat messages, listing and profile photos, voice messages, résumés and other uploaded files or documents. Videos are not uploaded to our servers; a listing may contain a link to an externally hosted video.

App activity and technical information

We may collect listing views, favourites, searches, reports, blocks, applications and other interactions needed to operate and personalise the Platform. Technical information may include IP address, device or app identifiers, push-notification tokens, browser or device information, app launches, ad interactions and diagnostic information such as performance, hang-rate or energy-usage data.

2. How we use information

3. Services and data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We use service providers that process data to operate the app, including hosting and infrastructure providers, Firebase Authentication and Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Maps services and Google Mobile Ads (AdMob).

AdMob may automatically collect and share an IP address (which can indicate approximate location), app interactions, diagnostic information and device/account identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Depending on consent and device settings, ads may be personalised or limited. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to address fraud or security threats, or to investigate suspected child exploitation, threats or other unlawful activity.

When you publish a listing, submit an application or send a chat message, the information you select is shown to the audience or recipient you choose. This is user-directed sharing that is necessary to provide the requested marketplace or communication feature.

4. User-generated content and moderation

Listings, reviews, messages, photos, voice recordings, files and reports may be processed by authorised personnel to prevent abuse, investigate complaints and enforce our Terms. Appropriate action may include restricting content, blocking communications, suspending accounts, preserving evidence or notifying competent authorities where legally required.

5. Permissions and choices

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain information while an account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, investigate reports, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and comply with law. Users can delete eligible listings, chats and messages within the app.

Account deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days. Residual encrypted backups may remain for up to 90 days. Limited security, moderation, dispute or legally required records may be retained for the period required by applicable law.

To delete your account or request deletion of specific data, follow the instructions at https://glocationjobs.com/delete-account/.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information, but no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from minors. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation and take appropriate action on suspected child-safety violations in accordance with our Terms and applicable law.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal data, or request data portability. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy to reflect service, legal or technical changes. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
